Advice and reviews

We offer an advice, support and review service.

This may range from inspections, CQC preparedness reviews, outbreak control and response, gap analysis, policy development and many other issues. Our consultants have a wide range of experience in microbiology, virology, infection prevention and control and infectious diseases.

We also have access to experts in healthcare planning, healthcare ventilation, healthcare water management, sterilisation and disinfection, cleaning, clinical consultations and other aspects of infection prevention and control.

Analysis and reports

We can support in the interpretation of results and findings.

We offer a service to interpret results, reports and other findings relating to infection and the prevention and treatment of infection. We are also able to undertake assessments and reviews of services or cases and produce reports.

Our team of consultants has extensive experience in interpreting and analysing infection control data, and we use this expertise to provide actionable insights and recommendations for improving your infection prevention and control measures.

Education and training

We have a team of experienced educators.

Training and education can be provided in a range of subjects including basic hand hygiene, personal protective equipment, cleaning and disinfection, specific infection related information and much more. Our services are flexible and can be tailored to address specific challenges or areas of concern.

Support and mentoring

We provide support and mentoring for clinical and managerial staff.

Our consultants work closely with staff members to provide guidance, support, and mentorship on all aspects of infection management, prevention, and control. We offer ongoing support through phone and email consultations, site visits, and customised training and education programs to ensure that staff members have the tools and resources they need to succeed. Our aim is to enable and empower staff by providing them with the knowledge and skills to make decisions, to know when to ask for help, and when to report and escalate issue of concern.

Litigation advice

We have several consultants experienced in litigation.

Our consultants can provide a thorough review of medical records and other relevant data, an assessment of relevant policies, procedures practices, and provide a report of findings. Our consultants have extensive experience in providing litigation support for cases involving infections and work closely with legal teams to provide the expert opinions.

Telephone advice

We provide a 24 hour contact and advisory service for clinicians.

 

We understand the importance of timely and effective guidance and offer a 24-hour telephone advisory service staffed by experienced consultants. This service is designed to help clinicians quickly and effectively prevent and manage infections. Our  consultants provide clinical advice on the phone to clinicians. This includes the interpretation of pathology results, antibiotic treatment options for individual patients taking into account antibiotic stewardship and infection prevention and control including outbreaks and incidents.
